In order to find interesting places or people I usually have to travel, moving myself to other places. When travelling by train you have the very convenient advantage that cities and rural areas are sliding past your compartment window. Instead of searching for subjects you have to sit and wait for subjects to present themselves.
I was lucky that the train was moving at moderate speed giving me enough time to take my shots, nearby the track or further away.
It is quite an enjoyable and surprising way of exploring foreign places.
